Privacy notice
This notice explains, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), how your personal data is processed when you contact me and when you visit this site.
Data controller
The data controller is Zeynep Şanlı. For any question about this notice, write to info@zeynepsanli.com.
The data I process
When you contact me by WhatsApp, email or phone, I process what you share: the parent's name; a phone number or email address; the student's first name and age; any musical background and the area they are interested in; the content of your messages.
This data is collected electronically, when you write to me or call me. Please do not share special-category data such as health information in writing; we can talk about it at our first meeting if needed.
Purpose and legal basis
I process this data only to answer your enquiry, plan the workshops and stay in touch with you. Legal basis: Article 5(2)(c) of Law No. 6698 (setting up or performing a contract).
Recipients and transfer abroad
The data passes through the systems of the providers I use: Cloudflare for hosting this site and forwarding email, WhatsApp (Meta) when you write on WhatsApp, and Gmail (Google) for email. The details needed for the legal documents on payments are shared with my accountant.
Cloudflare, Meta and Google may process data on servers outside Türkiye, so your data is transferred abroad through the channel you choose.
How long data is kept
Enquiries and messages that do not lead to workshops are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Documents on payments are kept for as long as the tax rules require. When the purpose ends, or when you ask, the data is deleted or anonymised, except documents the law requires me to keep, which are kept until that period ends.
Your rights
To use your rights under Article 11 of the Law (such as learning whether your data is processed, or asking for it to be corrected or deleted), email info@zeynepsanli.com. I answer free of charge within 30 days at the latest.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses two essential cookies: zs_lang, which remembers your language choice, and zs_consent, which remembers your cookie choice. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits, loads only if you allow it; it sets no cookie and its data stays on Cloudflare.
The site also counts page views and taps on the contact buttons with its own daily counters. The counters use no cookie, IP address or identifier.
The record of your cookie choice
When you make or change a cookie choice, the following is stored as proof of it in Cloudflare's encrypted D1 database: a random number generated in your browser at that moment, the time, the action (grant, refusal or withdrawal), whether analytics was allowed, the versions of the notice and the cookie banner shown, and the page's language and address.
No IP address, browser details or other information that identifies you is stored. This information is kept for 2 years and then deleted.
